Empowering Patients, Transforming Care.
NAIJA Patient Story
Who We Are
NaijaPatient.org was born out of a simple realization: patients’ voices are powerful yet often unheard. Our founders, a team of healthcare professionals and data experts, saw the need for a platform that could capture real-world patient experiences to shape healthcare in Nigeria. By bringing patients and providers closer together through data and feedback, NaijaPatient.org aims to bridge gaps in care and contribute to a healthcare system that listens, learns, and improves for everyone.”
What We Do
At NaijaPatient.org, we provide an unbiased, data-driven approach to healthcare improvement by focusing on the voices of patients. Unlike traditional feedback methods, our patient-reported outcomes and experience measures (PROMs and PREMs) are designed to capture the most relevant and actionable data on patient needs, preferences, and outcomes. By prioritizing privacy, ease of use, and real-world impact, we help healthcare providers and researchers understand and respond to the true healthcare experiences of Nigerian patients.
Core Values
- Transparency: We are committed to openness in our data processes and ensure patient data is used responsibly.
- Integrity: We uphold the highest standards of ethics and accuracy in all our data collection and analysis efforts.
- Impact: We strive to serve Nigerian communities with a focus on creating real, measurable change in healthcare quality and patient satisfaction.
- Collaboration: We work with healthcare providers, patients, and policymakers to drive collective improvement, ensuring that our work benefits people from all walks of life.
Mission
Our mission is to elevate healthcare quality in Nigeria by amplifying the voices of patients. Through patient-reported outcomes and experiences, we provide actionable insights that help healthcare providers, researchers, and policymakers improve care, address gaps, and build a truly patient-centered healthcare system.
Vision
We envision a Nigeria where every patient’s experience shapes healthcare quality, empowering individuals to contribute to a more responsive and effective healthcare system. By leading in patient-reported outcomes and experience measures, we strive to transform Nigerian healthcare to be more equitable, informed, and attuned to the needs of the people it serves.
