Making Insurance Work for You

Empowering Patients, Transforming Care.

Why we’re talking about making insurance work for you

You’ve encountered obstacles with the delivery of your healthcare. We know because we have too.

Any discussion about getting access to affordable, dignified care should include getting health insurance coverage. However, having health insurance is NOT the same thing as having access to the healthcare you need and deserve.

So we’ve put together some information here that we believe will help you understand how to get the most out of your insurance. By understanding your rights as an insured person, how insurance functions, and what to do when it doesn’t, we think your odds of succeeding as an insured person will increase. As always, if there is something you need to know about that we haven’t covered, reach out and let us know at hello@naijapatient.org.
